Pace Picante Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
- One 28-ounce can Tomato Sauce
- 28 ounces Water
- 1 medium Yellow Onion minced
- 2 fresh Jalapeño Peppers seeded and minced (The amount of jalapeños can be altered, less or more, to your taste and heat tolerance.)
- 1/4 cup White Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Dried Onion Flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a large saucepan. Stir to mix well.
Place pan over medium high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until sauce has reduced to a desired thickness.
Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
Taste. Add more salt and/or chili powder, to taste, if needed.
Pour into a sealable container. Store, in the refrigerator, until ready to serve, up to a month or more.
